Bawani Imli Shaheed Memorial Fatehpur

To liberate our country from the enslavement of the British, countless revolutionaries have offered their life to Mother India! To commemorate the martyrdom of these martyrs, there is a martyr memorial in many places, which reminds us of the sacrifices made for freedom of the country of freedom of the soldiers! One such monument is located in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh! It is known in history as the Bawani tamarli! In fact it is a tamarind tree on which the British had hanged 52 revolutionaries together on April 28, 1858! This memorial symbolizes the sacrifices made by freedom fighters! This tamarind tree is still present! The people believe that the development of that tree has stopped after the massacre! This place is near the Khajua town in Bindki subdivision!

The prime purpose and freedom of indoctrination of India was the main reason not only for the great revolutions of 1857, but also the first call of spirituality! From every region of the country, the heroes and heroes of every age and age accepted this call and sacrificed India's mother with their blood! Such a stunning flower was the revolutionary Jodshasinh Ataya!

On May 10, 1857, when Veer Mangal Pandey made a conquest of the revolution in Barrackpore Cantonment, his echo was heard all over India! On 10 June 1857, the revolutionaries in Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh) also stepped in this direction! Jodshasinh Ataya was leading them! Fatehpur deputy collector Hakkat Ulla Khan was also his ally! These heroes first took Fatehpur Kachari and Treasury to their possession! Jodsh Singh Attai's fate had taken the fire of freedom for a long time! Just waiting for that opportunity! Their relationship was made of Tatya Tope! To free the motherland, the two of them together fought with the British on the banks of river Pandu! After the face-to-face conflicts, the English army left the field and fled! These heroes buried their flag in Kanpur!

Jodhasinh's mind's flame did not go down at all! On October 27, 1857, he killed an Englishman Drooga and the soldier in Mahmudpur village when he was staying in a house! On December 7, 1857, he attacked a Gangapar Ranipur police check and killed a British crusader! Jodhsingh organized the revolutionaries of Awadh and Bundelkhand and captured Fatehpur too!

Considering the convenience of traffic, revolutionaries made Khajuah their center! On the information of a traitor informer, Col Powell, who was traveling from Prayag to Kanpur, attacked the Revolutionary Army at this place! Colonel Powell wanted to break his fortress, but Jodsh Singh's plan was perfect! He resorted to guerrilla warfare, which killed Colonel Powell! Now the British sent a new consignment of army under the leadership of Colonel Neel! This caused heavy losses to the revolutionaries| But even then Jodhsingh's morale did not diminish! They renewed the organization of organization, weapons collection and fundraising scheme! For this, he started migration in a pseudo-fascination, but it was a misfortune of the country that along with the heroes, the traitors were also flourishing here! When Jodhsingh Ataya Argal was returning to the treasure by discussing the conflict with the King, On the information of an informant, the cavalry army of the British surrounded him near village Ghoraha! After a brief struggle, Jodh Singh was imprisoned with his 51 revolutionary companions!

Jodh Singh and his patriot friends knew the result of their actions! On April 28, 1858, he was hanged along with his 51 companions on the tamarind tree on Mughal road! The tamarind tree (Bawani tamarli) situated between Bindki and Khajahah is remembered as a martyr memorial today
